What are tips for taking Omega-3 w/Vitamin D & K?Updated 12 days ago
Our Omega-3 is best taken with foods rich in good fats, such as yogurt, avocados, or those containing olive oil or other healthy fats. These help with nutrient absorption.
Each serving delivers 1.2g of EPA, 600mg DHA, 4,000 IU (100 micrograms) of Vitamin D3, and 120 mcg of Vitamin K2 divided across four gel capsules. This makes it easy to divide doses depending on your practitioner's recommendations.
The FDA recommends consuming no more than 5g of EPA and DHA combined from dietary supplements.
The upper Recommended Daily Allowance (RDA) for Vitamin D is 4,000 IU. See more specifics HERE.
Those who have difficulty with the soft gel capsules can carefully pierce them and squeeze the contents into yogurt, applesauce, or a food or drink of choice.
Please note: if you are pregnant, nursing, allergic, have a medical condition (especially those who have diabetes, liver disease, or have a clotting disorder), or taking medications (especially blood thinners), consult a doctor before using this or any other dietary supplement.
If you have any issues with the supplement, please be sure to stop taking it and reach out to your healthcare practitioner with any questions or concerns.
