What app do you suggest to track macronutrients?Updated a month ago

Our preferred tracking app is Cronometer! Some other options are MyNet Diary, MyFitnessPal, LoseIt, CarbManager, and Fitbit. It is best if the program will calculate net carbs (carb – fiber = net carbs). Many of the Apps offer this feature, but you may have to pay a small charge.

Tip for using Cronometer   

  • Be sure to select the Galveston Diet settings:
    • Go to Settings, then Display and make sure Show the Galveston Diet Settings is enabled.  This will show you net carbs correctly.  
    • Once enabled, you should see the Galveston Diet logo at the top of the Diary page above the Macros Consumed pie chart.  

  • All Galveston Diet recipes are included in the Cronometer database - 
    • Search Galveston Diet.  
  • All The Pause Nutrition® supplements are also included in the Cronometer database - 
    • Search The 'Pause Nutrition.
