Does an HSA/FSA Letter of Medical Necessity Work for Past Purchases?Updated a month ago

Completion of the qualification survey process signals the start of the patient-provider relationship.  Due to compliance reasons, Flex is not able to backdate a letter of medical necessity to a time prior to the establishment of that relationship.  

A provided letter of medical necessity will only work for purchases made during the active dates on the letter.
