Why We Use the Backwards Apostrophe in The ’Pause Life

In our logo, the backwards apostrophe is intentional and symbolic. It reflects the curves of a woman’s body and represents the way the conversation around menopause has been “backwards” for far too long, overlooked, misunderstood, and often discussed in silence.At The ’Pause Life, we’re here to turn that around.

The apostrophe is a visual cue for connection, not a literal pause. It signals a shift toward openness, empowerment, and a more honest experience of menopause. 

It embodies our mission: to reshape the narrative, support women through every phase of the transition, and create a space where their stories, needs, and well-being come first.
