What are some tips for taking your collagen supplement?Updated 14 days ago
If you are new to taking collagen, you may want to begin with 1/4 scoop and slowly increase to 1-2 scoops (depending on the product) over a few weeks.
If you are Intermittently Fasting, taking collagen during your eating window is recommended, as it contains calories.
Here are a few tips on how you can include our collagen supplement in your routine. Here are some simple suggestions:
- Pour the recommended amount of collagen into a glass of water and stir or use a shaker bottle. Add ice to keep it chilled!
- Blend into Smoothies: add to your smoothie preparation before you blend.
- Add to Tea: the light flavor notes complement many teas, or you can use our unflavored. Collagen can be added to hot or cold beverages. Mix into your cup, and enjoy!
- Mix with Yogurt. The collagens can be added to food, too! Add the recommended amount, then mix well. Then add the yogurt to your bowl of goodness or consume by itself.
- Combine with one of our other The Pause Nutrition® supplements such as Fiber GDX or Creatine.
