How do I get started with the supplements?Updated 8 days ago

While we know how quickly most of us want to jump right in and start seeing results from supplementing daily nutrition, we want to be sure there are no concerns about doing so.

Before You Begin

We encourage you to contact your healthcare physician to address any questions or concerns you may have.  It is always essential to check for potential interactions between your health concerns, current medications, or illnesses and the supplement you are considering starting.

Please review the caution statements on our product pages and on the product labels carefully.

The Pause Nutrition® supplements are NOT meant to replace a balanced diet consisting of whole foods. They are designed to fill gaps in your nutrition that can support your wellness journey.

Getting Started

When starting supplementation, especially if adding more than one at a time, we recommend incorporating them slowly into your daily routine.  It may also be beneficial to add one supplement at a time.  Be sure to review the directions and follow any guidelines provided by your healthcare practitioner.

Please keep in mind that consulting with your healthcare physician can also help determine the appropriate dose of a specific supplement for you.  Always refer to the serving size and never increase the dose beyond the recommended amount unless your healthcare provider directs you to do so.

Which supplement(s) do I use?

We know this can be overwhelming to determine which product is best suited to fill any nutrient gaps you may have.  Again, it is essential to discuss this with your practitioner before deciding.  Here is some information you can review and share with your practitioner to make an informed decision.

Our products are not one-size-fits-all.  They are formulated to address specific nutrient gaps in midlife, with an emphasis on whole foods first.  We've developed them in a layered support system, where they can be taken separately to support specific goals or together to help 'layer' the support needed for a particular situation.
