Dr. Haver believes you should first and foremost get the majority of your nutrients through whole food. Based on your healthcare physician's recommendation, you can then add in specific vitamins and minerals that will fill in the gaps in your nutrition, or those supplements that are needed to support your specific needs.
Most daily or one-a-day vitamins may not meet the specific needs to fill whatever gap in nutrients you may have. We recommend having this conversation with your healthcare physician as they will know what would work best for your situation.
